The Department of Psychology, a unit within @ASUTheCollege, explores the complexities of the mind, brain, thinking, feeling and behavior. The Department of Psychology is among the largest and most popular departments on the ASU Tempe camp ENERGIZE ASU Psychology Inc collects funds to be used by the ENERGIZE initiative at the Department of Psychology at Arizona State University. The main goal of the initiative is to increase the success of students under-represented in scientific psychology in application to and completion of graduate school. To achieve this goal, the initiative a) provides mentoring, b) matches students to laboratory experiences, c) administers the Jenessa Shapiro Undergraduate Research Scholarship, d) funds a summer internship program and a specialized academic research course, and e) creates diverse other programs that are designed to help the students advance to graduate school.
