Republic of Georgia Dog Refuge

The Republic of Georgia Dog Refuge is a no-kill, no-cage dog refuge. Our main aims are to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome neglected, abused and abandoned dogs in Georgia in any condition, including those that are sick, injured, senior, or disabled. We provide vaccinations to prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases, and sterilization to reduce the stray population. We strive to end animal cruelty by promoting public awareness of proper pet care and the humane treatment of strays through animal welfare community education programs, and by removing at-risk dogs from dangerous environments such as abusive homes, poorly-kept puppy mills, and dog fighting rings. We also conduct a Community Outreach program to feed dogs in rural areas, and provide dog food to low-income pet owners.
