Supporting Paraprofessionals in MA to become certified, lead teachers! Our 2024-25 application is now closed. JET promotes equity by mentoring paraeducators to obtain a bachelor’s degree and teaching license, improving economic mobility and professional opportunities for adult learners of underrepresented groups. JET collaborates with urban school districts in creating a community-based teacher pipeline to diversify the educator workforce.

JET diversifies the teacher workforce Students need diverse teachers. JETs unique model addresses this gap in urban communities where the need is greatest. We recruit diverse paraprofessionals without bachelors degrees who already work in the classroom know their communities and have the makings of great teachers.
