The Corporation is a public charitable corporation serving women and girls primarily in Rutherford County, Tennessee, and also in counties associated with the Middle Tennessee region. Its mission is to advance the educational, economic, and civic engagement of women and girls, as specified by the purposes of the American Association of University Women, Murfreesboro Branch (AAUW Murfreesboro).
