BARC also aims to raise public awareness to the plight of these animals who cannot speak for themselves by educating the public regarding overpopulation, the physical and emotional care of their pets, and promoting spaying/neutering of pets,. Our goal is to eliminate animal over-population, abuse, neglect, and homelessness.

It is made up of a group of community volunteers that rescue abandoned abused homeless lost neglected and unwanted dogs and cats from highkill animal shelters and provides these dogs and cats with medical attention including sterilization nutrition social interaction development and loving care in foster homes until they are adopted into kind and loving forever homes. As a fosterbased organization we do not have a physical facility and rely on people to open up their hearts and their homes to them until they find their forever homes.
