Power of Music Inc
Power of Music provides access to music education instruction, training, and materials for elementary schools in disadvantaged programs in metropolitan St. Louis. Our primary goal is to help young people experience a quality musical and philosophical education. Removing economic barriers through teacher coaching and support (both material and financial) will stimulate students’ personal, artistic, and academic growth through music. We are coaching St. Louis public elementary music teachers in a program that utilizes ukuleles in the classroom, as well as providing instruments. We encourage collaboration with academic teachers and music teachers so that they can fully realize that Power of Music will reinforce student health, learning, and development in all areas.
