We came. We saw. We won $100k 🎉 The Bloc was one of 7 organizations chosen by @impactgrantschicago as finalists to pitch at the Impact Grant Awards. All 7 finalists were granted substantial gifts. The Bloc was one of 4 orgs to leave with a $100,000 grant. The night started with a meet and greet, where Jamill and Eyre shared our mission and vision with Impact Grants Chicago members before Jamill stole the show with his speech. Members then voted on causes to support, and The Bloc was announced as a winner! Impact Chicago is an all-volunteer women’s collective providing critical support to organizations across the city.
