Wrapping Up Our Hurricane Beryl Recovery Projects on Union Island 🇻🇨 Since Hurricane Beryl struck Union Island on July 1, 2024, Sol Relief has been supporting local recovery efforts. Thanks to our incredible donors and partners, we've supported a tool lending program, helped rebuild homes and a preschool, worked on restoring water access, and provided supplies to help the local community. ✅ Reconstruction: Rebuilt roofs, replaced broken doors & windows, and secured homes for vulnerable families. ✅ Water Security: Installed 22 Home Water Kits with 600-gallon tanks to collect and store rainwater. ✅ Infrastructure Development: Finalizing plans to solarize a desalination plant on Mayreau for a sustainable water source. ✅ Education Recovery: Rebuilt Cinders Creative Next Preschool, giving children a safe place to learn and grow. ✅ Empowering the Community: Launched a Tool Lending Program with Jeremie Tronet, providing over 80 tools to help residents rebuild their homes.
