Our Mission is to support, give hope, and inspire the families with special needs siblings - Atlanta, Georgia Special Needs Siblings is a building a community that strengthens the sibling voice. Support siblings, strengthen families. The mission of Special Needs Siblings, Inc. is to raise awareness, support, and resources for the siblings of disabled individuals through advocacy, connection, and education. We envision a world where all the siblings of disabled individuals – even in the most remote areas of the globe – know they are not alone. 2.8 million children have a disability, a significant proportion of which have at least one sibling. There are very few organizations that support the siblings in the families in realistic and practical ways.
