About BUSC The British United Services Club established in 1935 welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds including those who have not served in the military to become members. Rooted in camaraderie among British and Commonwealth citizens and allied nations the club was founded by Hollywood elites former British officers members of the British diplomatic corps and prominent Southern California residents. Our gatherings held quarterly on the fourth Wednesday take place at the Altadena Town Country Club. Adhering to our cherished mess protocol gentlemen are invited to don military mess dress tuxedo with black tie or formal highland attire accompanied by appropriate miniature medals.
