Promoting Compassion. www.aprl.org in SD and www.aprl-socal.org in OC. APRL's mission is to protect the rights and habitats of all animals. We focus particularly on the issue of factory farming, which is responsible for the intense confinement, bodily mutilation, and assembly line slaughter of 10 billion land animals per year in the U.S. alone.

Victory. San Diego Housing Commission backs off new cruel and discriminatory pet policy. Thanks to all your written comments, the San Diego Housing Commission has revised its meeting agenda for Friday and completely removed consideration of its proposed new policy limiting families in public housing to only having two companion animals, in which they were even counting fish as one of those two animals.
