Edge Outdoors
EDGE Outdoors is a powerful initiative created to address the invisibility of Black, Indigenous, Women of Color (cis, trans, queer) in snow sports. The lack of inclusion in snow sports is directly related to past discriminatory law at the local, state, and federal levels that was purposely designed to exclude People of Color. Our Mission is to attract and retain Black, Indigenous, Women of Color (cis, trans, queer) in snow sports while encouraging leadership/exploration in snow sports. We provide scholarships for learn to ski and snowboard, ski/snowboard instructor training, avalanche education, athlete development program, and professional certification courses. Each scholarship addresses accessibility with lessons, gear, lodging, and transportation.
