Desert View Academy – A Caring Community Where Students Excel Connect with Us Learning Happens in the Real World. Last Wednesday our 5th grade DVA Eagles had the opportunity to take a trip to Albertsons Grocery Store and in partnership with the Arizona Department of Agriculture participated in learning many valuable real life lessons about weights and measures of foods pricing and quantity for the best deals possible and the steps taken to ensure the integrity at our gasoline pumps. Special thank you to the AZ Department of Agriculture and Albertsons for teaching our Eagles. These future consumers really made that real world connection.
