Reintegration programs for veterans and their families The purpose of Veterans Empowerment Organization, VEO, is to enhance the quality of life for all veterans on their journey to self-sufficiency. VEO’s mission is solely dedicated to helping veterans put their lives back together. Veterans Empowerment Organization was founded in 2008 to address the lack of services available to Atlanta’s homeless veterans. Over the years, more than 6,500 veterans have been served through transitional and supportive housing, workforce initiatives, mental health and substance use interventions to empower veterans on their journey to self-sufficiency.

This past Friday, we had the honor of welcoming volunteers from Mercy Mission Atlanta to VEO. Their energy, compassion, and commitment to service were felt throughout our campus as they rolled up their sleeves and got to work planting flowers to beautify our space. It’s always inspiring to see members of our community step up to support those who’ve served.
