The Texas Extension Education Association (TEEA) is a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening and enriching families through educational programs, leadership development, and community service. It partners with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to achieve its mission.
Mission and Vision
The mission of TEEA is to work in conjunction with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to enhance family life by providing educational opportunities and fostering leadership among community members. The organization envisions itself as the most effective volunteer organization in Texas for supporting families through lifelong learning opportunities, aiming to improve family and community life across diverse ethnic, age, and cultural groups, including those with disabilities.
Activities and Programs
TEEA supports various programs designed to promote individual growth and development for both youth and adults. The Family Community Leadership Program acts as a catalyst for leadership development among Texas women and facilitates community service activities, which are a medium for expressing charitable interests and enriching communities.
