GCBC provides holistic midwifery care: antenatal, birth, postpartum, well- woman and BF support! Grace Community Birth Center provides the woman of Grand Bassin, Haiti with affordable access to the Midwifery Model of Care during the entire childbearing year and beyond by offering prenatal and birth services, well woman services, and educational opportunities. Grace also offers the young people of the community a well-being and health education program that provides knowledge and supports that participants may use to influence their life course.

Grace Community Birth Center Our mission is to provide affordable accessible and respectful maternity care for the women children and families of Haiti. The birth center is completed and the GCBC staff is now providing a full range of maternal services. This mother her baby and the mothers sister gathered on our family bed the labor and delivery bed to share loving this little new life. Birth is meant to be shared with those closest to you and we are so thankful that we can provide a space where women do not have to labor alone where they can be fully supported by whoever they choose and that they have a clean comfy large bed to enjoy these blissfilled postpartum hours.
