Our Streets
Encouraging growth and unity within our community through resources, gatherings, and education. Our mission at Our Streets PDX is to promote the Black Lives Matters movement through service and leadership in our community. We firmly believe that our voice is loudest through our actions. By serving the Portland community and bringing people together, we hope to perpetuate the conversation of equality and promote growth within our society, one voice at a time. The strength of a community stems from the unity and love expressed by the people who inhabit it, so the stronger we are together, the more powerful we become. We want to be catalysts for growth in Portland and use our voices to promote positive change, starting from the streets to the system of oppression we battle daily. Our goal is to promote positive changes through community involvement.
