Nexusabilities Abilities' focus is to promote inclusion through education. In Public Schools, Nexus Abilities helps teachers learn about and advance assistive technology (AT) projects in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education. For the general public, Nexus Abilities provides online resources in the form of written and video tutorials in AT projects. Where and when appropriate, Nexus Abilities provides in-person hands-on or virtual do-it-yourself assistive technology (DIY AT) workshops. Nexus Abilities works with other nonprofit organizations as well as local, state and federal agencies to further these objectives.
