Canaan International, Inc.
Canaan International Inc. is a fundraising nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the rehabilitation/regeneration centers called "City of Refuge" in Latin America. A "City of Refuge" is a faith-based, grass roots development project focusing on the social issues of Alcoholism and Drug addiction in individuals. Our goals are to:Raise funding and materials support to help develop and grow the existing "City of Refuge" in Latin America.Help facilitate the building of a network of these effective rehabilitation-regeneration centers throughout that region.Increase domestic (US) awareness about the onslaught of illicit drugs and alcohol in international communities. As these goals are accomplished, opportunities to free individuals from dependency on drugs and alcohol will increase. We believe and have seen that through the "City of Refuge" model, individuals and families can be restored and reach functional levels in society, creating stronger communities better equipped to improve their country.
