The Endometriosis Association | Myths & Facts About Endometriosis

The Endometriosis Association is the recognized authority on endometriosis, a life-altering hormone and immune system disease affecting millions worldwide. Nothing on this page should be taken as medical advice. The Endometriosis Association (EA) maintains the three-fold mission that originally shaped the organization. First, our Education Program produces educational literature including brochures in 32 languages, educational DVDs (available in Spanish), CDs, and more. Second, our Support Program helps those with the disease and their families through volunteer crisis call help, a prescription drug discount program, discounts on high-quality nutritional supplements, and simply by letting them know they are not alone in their struggle. Third, through our Research Program we conduct and promote research in collaboration with leading medical researchers worldwide in order to find a means of prevention, better treatments and a cure for this often debilitating, always life-changing disease.
