Today's the Day! Join us at the center as we host its first Spring Showcase from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event will feature a student production of the musical Oliver!, put on by performers with intellectual and developmental disabilities as part of People’s Arc of Suffolk’s theatre program. It’s a chance for the community to come together and see the hard work and talent of our people. The event will also include an art exhibition called ArtAbility, featuring works by differently abled artists from the Spirit of Huntington Art Center. Each week, students study different artists and create their own works inspired by what they’ve learned. Our artists’ display will be part of a touring art show that travels across the tri-state area. These pieces highlight each artist’s unique point of view and the transformative power of art.
