The Genesee County Chamber is a private, not-for-profit, membership-driven organization, that brings together representatives from throughout the county to promote a vibrant local economy and strong local communities. CRISIS HOTLINE "Regional Action Phone, Inc is a telephone service whose primary mission is to alleviate distress and promote the appropriate utilization of community resources." RAP now has 14 incoming lines with 800#'s attached to eliminate any toll-calling barriers. We also contracted with the ASSIST Language Line that gives us access to over 150 different languages and dialects. In addition, we have a TTY and work with the New York State Relay Service to meet the needs of the hearing impaired community. Help is available anytime of the day or night simply by picking up the phone.
