Colorado Retail Council - Welcome Welcome to the Colorado Retail Council The Colorado Retail Council was founded as a notforprofit organization in 1966 by a group of concerned retailers that desired a stronger voice in the government lawmaking process. Four decades later the mission of the Colorado Retail Council remains the same to promote an environment that encourages profitable retail growth through strong advocacy on government actions and superior services to our members. The cRc serves as the voice of Colorados retailers at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. Because scores of bills that directly affect retailers are debated by the General Assembly each yearthe cRcdirectors are at the State Capitol each day to ensure that legislators hear the retail industrys point of view.
