After a national search, Chris Jones has been named vice president for finance and administration (VPFA) at #LCState, President Cynthia Pemberton announced on Thursday. “We are thrilled to add Chris to the team at LC State,” President Pemberton said. “Our institution is thriving and we feel Chris has the perfect background and skillset to help us continue to advance our mission and serve students well. Two more students of #LCState's prison education program graduated today during the college's first ever commencement ceremony held at the Idaho State Correctional Center (ISCC) "It means everything,” said one of the students. “Being in prison and getting the opportunity to better myself through the administration here and all the work that LC State has done, it truly does mean the world. I really do feel honored to be a part of this and especially being a part of the first class here at ISCC."
