There’s room for everyone in The House of Songs. The House of Songs is a Northwest Arkansas and Austin Texas-based non-profit that welcomes communities into its home to bring them together with the arts. THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: TO BRING MUSICIANS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TOGETHER TO CREATE NEW WORKS; TO PROMOTE MUSICAL AND ARTISTIC COLLABORATION; TO EXPAND CREATIVE AND CULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH IT OPERATES; TO WORK WITH CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS IN COUNTRIES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD; WITH SIMILAR GOALS; AND TO REDUCE CULTURAL BOUNDARIES THROUGH MUSIC.

The mission of The House of Songs is to unite musicians from across the world fostering creative harmony through crosscultural collaborations creative processes and shared performances. The House of Songs was founded in 2009 when two musicians from opposite ends of the globe connected by chance in a farflung Danish island. Attempting to write songs together for the first time they embraced the vulnerability and spontaneity of what if and ignited a spark.
