Home Established in 2014 Black Girls Cook BGC is anonprofit organization with a mission to empower and inspire innercity adolescent black girls through culinary arts and urban farming with an emphasis on Black Diaspora cultural histories and food practices. About half of AfricanAmerican women in the U. S. are obese compared to 30 percent of white women.
