The Long Island chapter of OESP (Oil & Energy Service Professionals) completed a project in Mount Sinai NY for Oil Heat Cares on November 9th. The elderly homeowner’s boiler was leaking severely and needed to be replaced, and they didn’t have the financial means to do so. Ron Poniatowski of Meenan brought the situation to the attention of the Oil Heat Cares board and the project was speedily approved. Thanks to generous donations from John DiPalma of Ferguson Enterprises, Mark Schmittzeh of Advanced Hydronics, Mike Magnone of RW Beckett, Dave Holdorf of Taco and Vinnie Ventura of Venco Sales, Oil Heat Cares was able to get the heat and hot water back on for a family in need well in time for the holiday season. Most importantly, Shane Pitta of All Dry brought the coffee and bagels and Justin Romano of Guaranteed Home Improvement treated the diehards to a late lunch.
