The New England Wooden Boat Preservation Foundation is a 501c3 non profit. The foundations mission statement defines an organization of growth and knowledge. Like the seed that grows into the oak that is harvested for frames and deck beams to create the mighty schooner children of varied age who are attracted to wooden boat creation and preservation will be taught from the beginning by experienced builders how to build and maintain a specific type of boat.
