The Shapiro Foundation The Shapiro Foundation Welcome to The Shapiro Foundation Our Focus We are proud to be a leader in serving the worlds most vulnerable population The more than 75 million refugees internally displaced people and asylumseekers. In our 20 years we have proudly partners with hundreds of organizations serving vulnerable populations in ways ranging from feeding and housing survivors of natural disasters and civil wars to ensuring access to education for homeless children. The first fifteen years of our existence very much framed our current approach and many of those longstanding grantees remain close partners to date. However our foundation has become far more active in refugee resettlement since 2015 and has had the privilege of investing meaningfully in refugee resettlement and integration on six continents were very open to any ideas on Antarctica.
