Chinese Progressive Association is a grassroots community organization working for equality and empowerment of the Chinese community in the Greater Boston area. The Chinese Progressive Association (CPA), originally founded as the Chinatown Peoples Progressive Association, is a grassroots community organization which works for full equality and empowerment of the Chinese community in Greater Boston and beyond, to improve living and working conditions, and to involve ordinary community members in making decisions that affect our lives. The CPA particularly targets the immigrant, working class sector of the Chinese community.
