HCHS Band: Black And Silver Brigade, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Winds, Concert Bands I & II, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, BASBCG To promote the education, development, and continuation of a superior band program at Houston County High School, to promote the interest of the band, encourage student participation, and to support the band directors, school administration, and the Houston County Board of Education.

The Houston County Band program serves over 300 students daily and includes four concert ensembles a jazz ensemble a percussion ensemble and a dedicated color guard class. The Black and Silver Brigade HCHSs marching unit includes two marching bands serving over 200 students. Bands at Houston County High School have consistently received Superior ratings at adjudicated events throughout the southeast in both the concert and marching areas including winning Grand Champion honors at the 2017 Sound of Gold Marching Invitational and the 2018 Coffee Marching Invitational.
