BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR BALLET REQUIRES ENLIGHTENED LEADERSHIP AT ALL LEVELS COMMITTED TO INCLUSION OF PEOPLE OF COLOR AND CREATING A GENUINE ENVIRONMENT OF BELONGING. ESSENTIAL TO CREATE SUSTAINABLE SPACES ARE CULTURAL COMPETENCE, WELCOMING THE VOICES OF EXPERIENCE AND SURVIVAL, AND EMBRACING INNOVATION. Why Beyond the Ballet Barre BTBBs officers and advisory board have decades of dance experience navigating and excelling in a world historically challenged by issues of access to opportunity equity and inclusion of underrepresented artists managers and administrators.
