THE UPLANDS SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT RESEARCH FOUNDATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE VITALITY OF THE WESTGATE@CRANE TECHNOLOGY PARK. THE BOARD IS ASSISTED BY ADVISORS FROM NSWC CRANE AND VARIOUS REGIONAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL PARTNERS TO ENSURE CROSS-SECTOR ALIGNMENT, STRONG COMMUNICATION, AND THE DEPLOYMENT OF BEST PRACTICES IN TECHNOLOGY PARK DEVELOPMENT.USTF'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO:- FACILITATE THE TRANSFORMATION OF WESTGATE INTO AN INNOVATION COMMUNITY,- LEAD THE TECHNOLOGY PARK'S DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY BY MANAGING AND COORDINATING THE PARK'S REAL ESTATE ASSETS AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS,- DRIVE NEW ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACT NEW FIRMS AND TALENT IN EMERGING TECHNOLOGY AREAS LIKE MICROELECTRONICS, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, AND HYPERSONICS, AND- CREATE A UNIQUE REGIONAL HUB WITH A DISTINCTIVE SENSE OF PLACE.
