Redding Tai Chi Meditation Garden
Redding Tai Chi Meditation Garden (www.reddingtaichi.com) is a registered 501(c)(3) organization committed to providing expanded opportunities for activities to enhance both the physical and emotional health of members of our Northern California community through low-impact outdoor exercises. We propose to build a 55-foot diameter practice court paved with decorative flagstone incorporating the Tai Chi Tu symbol (“yin-yang”) into its design, where anyone can practice Tai Chi, yoga, dance, or other low-impact meditative exercises, or just sit and enjoy a peaceful, natural setting. The project is set within The McConnell Arboretum & Botanical Garden at Turtle Bay located in Redding. This project will provide not only seniors but all members of the community a place to connect.
