Julia's Light Foundation Nothing Can Dim the Light That Shines from Within. Maya Angelou Julias Light Foundation was created in memory of our daughter Julia Grayce Acuna who tragically died during childbirth on December 4 2016. The mission of Julias Light Foundation is to reduce the mortality rate of babies during birth by advocating for enhanced education on and awareness of potential complications during a vaginal birth after Csection VBAC. To honor the life of our daughter who left too soon we want to bring comfort and peace to children in need.
