THE ORGANIZATION MANAGES, SECURES, INSURES, AND MAINTAINS A PRIVATE COMMUNITY LAKE FOR THE RECREATIONAL AND ESTHETIC BENEFIT OF ITS MEMBERS. THE LAKE ALSO SERVES AS A KEY DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL ELEMENT FOR THE LARGER SURROUNDING COMMUNITY.

Home - Kaelepulu Pond | ELRA Kaelepulu Pond ELRA Enchanted Lake Residents Association Aloha from the Enchanted Lake Residents Association. We support initiatives that restore the quality of the Kaelepulu and Kawainui waterways for the benefit of the fish endangered waterbirds and other species who historically thrived in these waters. Improving this habitat will also benefit the many people who fish play visit or live near these waters. While the community is actively working to improve the ecosystem we need the City to conduct monthly openings of the berm at Kailua Beach Park and we need the State to restore partial controlled water flow from Kawainui to Kaelepulu.
