Home - Northern California Publishers and Authors WHO WE ARE WHAT WE DO Northern California Publishers Authors NCPA is an alliance of independent publishers authors and publishing professionals in Northern California. Formed in 1991 as Sacramento Publishers Association then expanded to Sacramento Publishers and Authors and eventually to NCPA our purpose is to foster encourage and educate authors small publishers and those interested in becoming authors and publishers. We support small indie presses selfpublishers and aspiring authors at our monthly meetings. Topics include self and traditional publishing editing book design tax legal issues and marketing.
