National Hepatitis C Coalition, Inc.
The National Hepatitis C Coalition, Inc. was founded by Kevin and Patty Krueger in April 1997 in Smyrna, Tennessee after their participation in the first patients conference on hepatitis C held in Washington, DC that year. The event made them realize the value of patient interaction and the need to reach out to support others with the disease, and they returned home with a vision to devote their lives to helping others learn to live with it. The NHCC continues to be active in the hepatitis C community by assisting in the formation of support groups around the country, interacting with patients through its community involvement, website and telephone support line. Our goal is to give hope to patients and families, help them realize they are not alone, and empower them to make a difference in the lives of others as well as their own.
