Prairie Grove Historical Society

The mission of the Society is to discover and collect any material which may help to establish and illustrate the history of Prairie Grove, AR the surrounding area, and its people. It may collect items relevant to the history of the area and see to the conservation, preservation, and protection of those items and establish a museum and archives in which to house those items. The Society shall disseminate historical information and promote interest in the past by publishing historical information; by holding meetings, lectures, discussions, addresses and events; by marking historic buildings, sites, trails and otherwise so as to educate its membership, the general public, private institutions, or entities.
