The Historic Winyah Auditorium will be an invaluable resource for residents of Georgetown County SC as a civic auditorium and performance venue. A volunteer-run organization the Winyah Auditorium seeks to enrich quality of life by 1. persevering and maintaining our historic building for the Georgetown community (placed on the National Register 1988), 2. serving the community by renting the facility to not-for-profit and for-profit organizations and businesses for events (recitals, pageants, community meetings, business meetings etc.) at a reasonable cost 3. supporting our underserved and diverse community by sponsoring cultural events, musical performances, and educational activities at affordable ticket prices.
