To train volunteer licensed mental health clinicians to conduct evaluations of asylum seekers and to serve as expert witnesses; and link immigration attorneys and community agencies who are seeking pro bono evaluations of asylum seekers with our trained network of volunteer clinicians.

The Project has over 200 clinicians in the Bay Area who provide pro bonoor low fee evaluations for asylum seekers. Please note that the Project prioritizes cases with legal fees that arepro bonoor up to 1000 and after that cases in which legal fees are between 1000 and 3000.
