THE MISSION OF THE TEMPLE LITERACY COUNCIL IS TO HELP ADULT STUDENTS IMPROVE THEIR BASIC LITERACY AND ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE SKILLS IN ORDER TO GAIN AND MAINTAIN EMPLOYMENT, FULFILL THEIR FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR ACHIEVE OTHER PERSONAL GOALS.
