PROTECT ANCIENT FORESTS On March 1 2025 the White House issued an Executive Order Immediate Expansion of American Timber Production which puts Americas majestic oldgrowth National Forests at risk by attempting to sidestep bedrock environmental laws including the Endangered Species Act. The Executive Order says that as recent disasters demonstrate forest management and wildfire risk reduction projects can save American lives and communities however the destructive clearcutting being set into motion by this order drastically increases catastrophic wildfire risk and thereby make our communities less safe.
