Pathways Reentry Center
Pathways seeks to reduce the vicious cycle of recidivism through three pillars of reentry supports in our community. 1. Community partnerships and leadership among providers helps to break down stigma and siloed agencies and/or services that make recovery difficult. 2. Direct, supportive services to individuals releasing from incarceration and those with criminal backgrounds creating a barrier to recovery and wellbeing. 3. Influence and impact at the policy level as a means of changing the way policymakers see criminal histories, engaging stakeholders at the systems level, and working to advocate for increased access to services and supports that reentrants require stop the cycle of release-reoffend-rearrest.

Home Page SUPPORT EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE Advocacy Pathways Reentry Center is focused on changing the way we think and talk about criminaljustice in Alaska and systematically altering how our residents intersect with law enforcement and the judicial system. It is Pathways philosophy that policy reform is as important as providing support services for individual clients. If you would like to take part in this work during the next legislative session please contact us. Outreach Pathways works to break down the stigma associated with having a criminal record by connecting with other agencies businesses local leadership and members of our community through various outreach opportunities.
