The First Baptist Church of Hanson Inc
Established in 1812, we are part of the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts (T.A.B.C.O.M.), Old Colony Baptist Association and the Cranberry Council of Churches. We are the children of God formed into a family named the First Baptist Church of Hanson, Inc. Our mission statement reads - - - “Sharing Christ’s Love… Reaching Out With Joy.”; We are founded on Christ’s commandments - “… Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your strength … Love your neighbor as yourself…” ; “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”; The church is a visible gathering of those who follow Jesus. Its purpose: do the ministry and mission of His kingdom. It's the place where believers are nurtured in growth, so that they might go into the world as Christ’s ambassadors.
