(no title) About CCA The Council of Communication Associations is an umbrella organization that currently includes seven national andinternational communication associations. CCA was created to enhance the mission and facilitate the activities of its member associations and to promote understanding and advancement of communication as an academic discipline. Members include Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication American Journalism Historians Association Association for Business Communication Association of Schools of Journalism Mass Communication Black College Communication Association Broadcast Education Association International Communication Association National Association for Media Literacy Education CCA was created to enhance the mission and facilitate the activities of its member associations and to promote understanding and advancement of communication as an academic discipline. Each member provides two voting representatives to the Council.
