Home - Altrusa House of Gainesville Our Purpose Altrusa House is a licensed adult day health care program that provides a safe and stimulating environment for adults with disabilities or special needs. We serve individuals who may have a physical or developmental disability cognitive disorder such as Alzheimers disease or dementia and those recovering from a stroke. Adult Day Health Care Altrusa House meets the needs of Gainesville areas increasing older populations and diminished social and financial resources to care for them. We provide a protective environment and offer preventative remedial and restorative services for elderly adults who need care during the day.
