AGR is now known as Arizona Heartfelt Hounds, a non-profit, all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) corporation committed to the belief that every sighthound deserves a home. In 2020, Arizona Greyhound Rescue transitioned its brand to further embrace our new name – Arizona Heartfelt Hounds. This expands our ability to reach out even further and do more. Arizona Heartfelt Hound's Mission is to enrich our community and the lives of sighthounds through adoption, companion programs and education. Our vision is a world where every sighthound is valued and has a loving forever home. We are located in Tucson and primarily serve Southern Arizona. However, we have placed dogs throughout Arizona and the Southwest. Our volunteers are primarily in Southern Arizona, and we are expanding our volunteer base in the Phoenix area and in Northern Arizona. We collaborate with other Hound placement organizations throughout the state of Arizona as well as in other Western states.
