Friends the Foundation of the California African-American Museum
Friends, the Foundation of the California African American Museum (Friends) is a support organization established in 1998 to provide continuing resource support and funds to enahance and maintain the collections, exhibitions, premises, and other functions of the California African American Museum (CAAM) whose mission is to research, collect, preserve, and interpret for public enrichment, the history, art and culture of African Americans. Friends carries out this work on behalf of CAAM through a formal Operating Agreement.
