YOGI SQUAD
We are on a mission to get yoga practices out of studios and into the hands of ALL the people. We believe yoga is adaptable and adjustable for everyone. An early introduction to yoga teaches students to develop their minds for better focus, allows them to maintain their youthful flexibility, and teaches them tools that are useful on and off the mat for making positive, empowering choices. Yoga releases tension, promotes confidence, and increases self-esteem and self-awareness. Through the creative incorporation of selected children’s literature, books come to life with movement and yoga. Students benefit from the development of positive associations with books and reading, physical activity, social and emotional learning exercises, and mindfulness techniques.
